Christie expands its laser range with four new projectors

InfoComm. The manufacturer Christie incorporated four new 1DLP laser projection solutions. With 20,000 lumens, the Christie D20WU-HS/D20HD-HS are, so far, the lightest and brightest 1DLP laser projectors on the market. On the other hand, with its 16,000 lumens, the Christie D16WU-HS/D16HD-HS are the lightest and brightest 1DLP laser models among those that work at full brightness with a single 110V circuit of 15A.

"We have high expectations with the expansion of the HS Series to the new 16,000 and 20,000 lumens models. These are very cost-effective and easy to install projectors. With their high brightness and the durability of their laser light source, these latest additions to the HS Series offer the customer a great choice in the field of projection solutions for heavy-duty applications," said Brad Martin, Christie Product Manager.

All four projectors come standard with BoldColor Technology, a technology patented by Christie that ensures intense and realistic images with high levels of brightness, which more than comply with the Rec. 709 of exact color reproduction. Combined with HD/WUXGA resolutions, these projectors achieve clear, sharp and vivid images.

Both the Christie D20WU-HS/D20HD-HS and the D16WU-HS/D16HD-HS offer the option of warping and blending with Christie Twist, allowing quick and easy installation of irregular multi-projection screens and arrays, and orienting the installation omnidirectionally, that is, with the orientation that best suits the design and space.

The new models will be on the market in August 2018, with a three-year warranty for spare parts and labor and the endorsement of Christie's prestigious after-sales service.
