Christie launches flat panels for control rooms

Latin America. Christie's new FHD492-XV and FHD552-XV LCD flat panels are versatile and suitable for 24/7 use in control rooms located in government facilities, utilities, security and surveillance, telecommunications and transportation. The two panels, the first installment of a new series, provide the quality and excellent value/price ratio in LCD displays that have made Christie famous.

The new flat panels offer impeccable images with unblemished detail. With its 13-millimeter (6.5mm on each side) bezel combination, the new series is the perfect solution for control rooms that employ multiple images on multiple screens.

The panels can be combined with the Christie® Phoenix® EP, which will be released at ASIS International September 12-15 in Orlando, Florida. Christie Phoenix EP is a network distributed processor, installable directly on compatible Christie displays: a compact, economical and cost-effective solution, and highly scalable to manage content on videowalls and distributed displays and ideal in control rooms and other types of applications.

In the words of Andy Clipsham, Senior Product Manager at Christie. "The FHD492-XV and FHD552-XV panels are a very affordable option for those mosaic videowall displays in which the bezel width is not the fundamental factor. Not only can they be deployed in mosaic in horizontal and vertical modes, but they can also be used individually in many types of spaces, such as lobbies, bars dedicated to sports, shops, family entertainment centers and stadiums, spaces for shows."
