Haivision presented its solutions in Mexico

Mexico. The company Haivision took advantage of the last version of TecnoMultimedia InfoComm Mexico 2016 to present its latest technologies for the local market, by the hand of its distributor Novotech.

Among other solutions exhibited the Makito X, for the transport of HD video over the public internet, the Coolsign digital signage system, with the special content platform ConvergenciaDS, as well as the  Kulabyte equipment, encoder / transcoder with professional features for streaming and IP video contributions.

Streaming with new mobile app
Haivision has a complete video platform for companies and institutions. Calypso is the solution that allows total video communication with collaborators, associates and customers, using the most modern tools to manage, publish and distribute video, over any network. This new app reinforces the collaboration ecosystem for corporate users, designed to live stream from mobile devices and share content with users.

Content management technology
Convergencia DS is a company that offers a new content management model, which is easy to use, can be updated in real time, is self-manageable if desired and offers unlimited communication at a very reasonable cost. It offers solutions designed for many of the most important markets through its Streems platform. This content system is supported by Haivision's Coolsign technology, which offers security and advanced features for digital signage.

The HEVC era (H265) has arrived
HEVC the new standard for video compression is a reality for the industry. It replaces the H264 codec (AVC), offering up to 50% savings in bandwidth and superior quality using the same bandwidth. This compression is more efficient when comparing similar frames and removing duplicate information. HEVC improves prediction, compression, and frame mixing, requiring less processing for dramatic improvements and results.

Haivision has designed the Makito X encoder with HEVC, for live streaming functions, video transport and security applications over saturated networks or where higher image quality is required. This equipment is unique and allows you to live at the same time with the H264 codec, to continue working with workflows that use this codec and send streams in HEVC. It is compatible with many decoders and equipment such as Haivision's Media Gateway and Setup-box.

Soon we will see how this new standard begins to be adopted and Haivision will soon present news about it.
