Christie Expands GS Series of Laser Phosphor Projectors

Latin America. Christie's extensive 1DLP family is now completed with the launch of four new GS Series laser phosphor projectors. Two of the projectors are HD models with Bold Color Technology, capable of producing realistic images in a compact package ideal for discreet installations in spaces such as business meeting rooms, trade fairs, entertainment venues and show rentals.

More advanced than previous GS models, these four professional-grade projectors use a grid-based warping and blending processor and offer the option to warping, blending and stacking the camera, allowing for faster and easier configurations. With the possibility of being used with vertical orientation by rotating them 360 degrees, they are ideal projectors in complex assembly of rental events and shows or in fixed applications of medium size.

Two additional advantages: its 35dBA prevents projector noise from distracting the user and its sleek new design makes these projectors harmoniously adapt to any environment. Lightweight and compact, the four new models generate extraordinary images thanks to their laser phosphor light source, with a life of 20,000 hours of low maintenance and low cost of ownership.

Christie BoldColor Technology
If all four models offer an obvious color improvement, the 850-GS model also incorporates Christie BoldColor Technology, a solution that transforms that improvement into excellence. The refinement of the color balance to improve chromatic accuracy generates that range of vivid colors that the public likes so much.

With two new models of HD laser phosphor and two WUXGA, Christie now has a very complete offer of 1DLP® that includes options of lamp and laser phosphor, with powers ranging from 3000 to 13,000 lumens and that do not force to work with a single technology. We have customers who need to maintain the choice between lamp and laser phosphor, and Christie guarantees them that possibility," said Curtis Lingard, Christie's Chief Product Officer.

With lower and side HDMI connectivity and rear cover, the new Christie GS models can be roof-mounted and feature a clean look, leaving no unused connections, cables and keypad visible. All RJ45 connections are fully compatible with the rugged and lockable XLR connection, for added protection and to avoid having to make wiring adjustments in the field.

Available in black or white and backed by a three-year warranty for spare parts and labor, Christie's new GS Series models will begin service in the summer of 2016.
