The Sacramento Kings will be seen in 4K

International. Panasonic and the NBA professional basketball team, Sacramento Kings will install a video whiteboard formed by giant screens with LED technology and 4K Ultra HD quality in the team's new headquarters, the Golden 1 Center, a multipurpose arena that will be inaugurated next October in the center of the Californian city of Sacramento.

This hanging video whiteboard will be the first with 4K Ultra HD resolution in any NBA scenario. (Architectural projection image) (Video available)

Composed of four screens that add up to more than 566m2 of surface and a total of 32 million pixels, the video board will be suspended in all the interior of the Golden 1 Center, which will make it the largest video installation of all the arenas of the NBA.

Basketball fans, and those who attend the musical concerts that will host the venue, will enjoy video content, repetitions of plays and statistics with images of 4K Ultra HD resolution that will be appreciated with great clarity from any of the 17,500 seats of the property.

The video whiteboard will span almost the length of the basketball court with two side screens of 13.4 x 7.3 meters and a top strap of 1.8 high.

In addition to the huge video whiteboard, Panasonic will also provide the following equipment to enrich the experience for viewers visiting sacramento's new arena:

·         Two LED screens 7.6 meters high each, installed right at the main entrance, which will welcome you with information about the event, content generated by the fans themselves and much more.
·         More than 600 HD video monitors distributed in the different corridors, consumption centers and boxes of the Golden 1 Center so that fans do not lose detail of the games.
·         A thin screen of 457 meters long in the form of a strap, installed on the inner perimeter of the arena, which will offer updated information, such as statistics or social media content.

All this technology is part of the ambitious project of the Golden 1 Center arena that also promises to be the best and fastest arena in terms of connectivity, which will facilitate interaction with the public through intuitive real-time experiences.
