Expo Lighting America 2016 Educational Program Announced

Mexico. According to a 2014 study by the consulting firm Lux Research, the value of the global professional lighting market amounted to $3.8 trillion, with an average annual growth of 7% sustained since 2007.

This growth has not only been in terms of market opening, but has also benefited from technological advances in LED lighting, which reached 25.7 billion dollars in 2015, and is expected to multiply twelve times its volume in the next decade, having an annual growth of 25%.

Likewise, Mexico is experiencing a key moment in terms of LED technology, where its talent and investment capacity are boosting the country in an important way; only last year, this sector had a 40% share, expecting that by 2016 it will grow by 10% more, reaching 70% of the Mexican lighting market by 2020.

Due to this great development, the industry demands professionals to train in issues and trends that arise day by day, one of the spaces offered by this update is the ELA Expo Lighting America 2016 event, the main business forum for professional lighting and related technologies in Mexico, where manufacturers and distributors meet to create innovative experiences.

This event has launched its educational program headed by Doriana and Massimiliano Fuksas, Directors of the outstanding Italian architecture firm Studio Fuksas, with the presentation "Thunder over Mexico".
