Barco and Cine Brasil bring the Lobby experience

Brazil. Barco has partnered with cinema solutions integrator Cinema Brasil to drive customer engagement and revenue opportunities in today's cinemas, with its Barco Lobby expertise. Described as "the show before the show," the customizable solution brings the box office area and lobby to life with a collection of bold interactive display technologies.

Barco and Cine Brasil have enjoyed a long and successful relationship, collaborating on numerous digital film conversions and new deployments in South America. Now, they will jointly commercialize the Barco Lobby experience, demonstrating how this innovative solution can transform leisure venues into modern, visually spectacular theaters.

The Barco Lobby Experience offers scalable solutions ranging from a simple digital concession board, interactive movie posters with point-of-sale capabilities, to animated box office signage, a networked array of video walls synchronized with the latest movie trailers, called "Lobby Domination." High-impact and dynamic lighting and audio solutions can be added to extend this immersive experience.

Lobby is unique in its ability to engage, entertain, inform and most importantly, motivate customers to purchase tickets in advance. Mobile phones are a key element in the Experience Lobby equation enabling real-time interaction between customers and screens to drive engagement and purchases, as well as expand brand opportunities through social media.

Another important revenue opportunity from the Barco Lobby experience is to empower unique and compelling advertising opportunities. The solution not only allows exhibitors to disseminate theater promotions, but also the content of third-party studios and advertising, food and beverages, consumer products and for other retailers.
