TVOne offers courses accredited by InfoComm

International. TVOne announced that several of its training programs are now supported by InfoComm's Technology Specialist (CTS) certification and the Renewal Units (UK) program.
 

This is the result of an agreement reached between TVOne and InfoComm and its UK supplier programme to reinforce their commitment to the continuing education of CTS professionals in the industry. TVOne now offers five courses that are CTS certified. The courses are:

TVOne Introduction (3 Hours, 1 1/2 RU credits)
This introductory course covers TVOne technology and products while exploring a number of industry considerations including scaling, manipulation, edge mixing, video wall design, HDMI extension, UTP expansion, among others.

Corio Video Scaling Technology (3 credit hours, 1 1/2 UK credits)
Using a number of climbers TVOne explores how to use this technology for a number of applications, including medical, education, conference rooms, events and military deployments, through Picture-In-Picture, switching, Edge Blending and also for Multiviewers.

Corio Creative Video Wall Design (3 Hours, 1 1/2 UK credits)
The use of the Corio Max family, Master, Master Mini and Matrix. Explore how to create creative video walls and implement scalable AV arrays. You also learn how to control edge and projector mixes before creating a system with a variety of analog and digital sources with output displays and projectors.

Magenta UTP & Fiber Extension and Switching (3 Hours, 1 1/2 UK Credits)
This course explores Cat 5/6 Extension, UTP and Fiber Switching and Extension extension that includes several topologies such as point-to-point, star, string, point-to-multi-point, and switching matrix.

HDBaseT Extension (2 Hours, 1RU Credit)
Learn about the technology behind HDBaseT and HDBaseT-Lite before examining real-world deployments, along with distribution and switching possibilities.
