Bancóldex's experience with the InMedia channel

Colombia. As part of its internal communication strategy, the company Bancóldex has implemented a digital signage solution, installed by Datecsa, through its InMedia line, which is dedicated exclusively to this segment.


In total, seven screens were installed and for which the company decided to put a dedicated channel and promote the medium as an inclusive, dynamic and informative tool. Catalina Chavarro, national head of InMedia, explained that there were no difficulties during the process, because the client was fully prepared for the arrival of this new communication channel.

The "T.V. capsules" is the name by which the information that is published on the screens arranged in the cafeterias of Bancóldex is known. In accordance with the directives of the entity, through this channel, they have encouraged the participation of officials and areas interested in disseminating messages of different kinds, such as: news, recommendations, figures, data, activities, videos, institutional campaigns, etc. thus facilitating the bank's internal communication.

Catalina Chavarro added that for Bancoldex "having this channel has been an important step in terms of corporate communication, because it has allowed to generate pleasant, dynamic and creative content. The "T.V. capsules" are strategically distributed in cafeterias, taking into account that it is a place  that officials frequently resort to and where the contents attract their attention."

So far, the opinions have been positive and there is more and more participation by collaborators in the design of the contents of the channel.
