Musimundo adopts technology for digital signage

Argentina. One of the largest retail chains in Argentina, Musimundo, deployed a digital signage solution based on Haivision's CoolSign system, in order to deliver dynamic content through its network of 200 stores.


As a specialist in home appliances, electronics and entertainment products, Musimundo recently launched a multi-layer in-store marketing channel (m! Channel) with strategic advertising and production. Channel merges video, brand recognition, dynamic content, and both in-store and collaborative promotions.

To control and distribute content across its store network, Musimundo partnered with Congress Sales, a local digital signage solutions provider. To easily manage and program dynamic content for Musimundo to 30 video screens, 700 commercial LCD screens and 3,000 LCD TVs, the company used Haivision's scalable and flexible CoolSign architecture.

In this way they have the ability to create and edit dynamic content very efficiently, providing great flexibility in changing advertising and promotional content.

"With CoolSign, we have been able to provide a powerful solution with simple management tools so that we can easily manage Musimundo's digital signage. In addition, the system's unique programming options allow us to work around Bandwidth Issues in Argentina," said Luis María Gonzalez Lentijo, CEO of Congress Sales.
