International. The association of Women in the audiovisual area, Woman in AV, reached an agreement with the audio and video signals product company Kramer Electronics to present monthly webinars during 2013 to educate, support and inspire women in the industry.
The two companies reported that the topics of the webinars will be in charge of experts who respond to the wide range of interests of women, including professional promotion, mentoring, personal presence and cutting-edge technical topics such as digital to analog conversion and AV/IT convergence.
The first of these webinars, which will be taught in English, will be held Friday, January 25 and will offer an overview of the series and solicit the opinion of the attendees on the topics and areas in which women are most interested, to provide better advice and guidance from experts in the following seminars.
The seminars will be held on the last Friday of each month starting at 3 PM ET and each session will be recorded for on-demand playback.
