The evolution of Digital Signage will be discussed in an international forum

altMexico. On June 9, the second Mexican Digital Signage Forum will be held in Mexico City, organized by Kolo Academy for the sector in Latin America. The event will feature local and international industry figures, who will present their visions and experiences in the market, as well as some success stories.

To deepen the topic, AVI LATINOAMÉRICA spoke with Germán Robles, director of Kolo Academy, who delved into what visitors will find in this version: "As in the last edition, we will have an international presence of importance for the industry: from Brazil, Yuri Berezovoy, VP Sales Broadsing Latin America, will present on two topics of importance for the industry (Dooh Market -outdoor digital advertising- in Latam and Measurement of effectiveness in Circuits Dooh), we will also have a showroom where some companies will exhibit their products or services."

The flagship theme of this second version is based on the thesis called SO-LO-MO (Social-Local-Media), a term that defines the new marketing strategies that involve digital signage and that seek to generate a better approach between the seller and his client.

For Robles, commercial sectors such as banks and retail are the ones that are betting the most on the market. " Retail is increasingly important in the advertising industry (brand presence at the point of sale) with the interaction of social networks and Digital Signage as a brand driver."

On the other hand, Germán Robles named some of the current trends in Digital Sigane for Latin America: "The Dooh market in Mexico and Latin America is in full development. In Mexico the industry has had an average growth of 12% per year and by the end of 2012 it is expected to be a market of US $ 280 million, of which Mexico will represent almost US $ 60 million. Recent studies conducted by consultants from the United States (pqmedia) place Mexico within the five countries with the highest growth throughout the continent, along with the USA, Canada, Colombia and Brazil (the latter leading by the large number of sports activities they expect in the next 6 years)".

Here is the forum agenda:
