Japan. The technology company Toshiba announced that it will focus its production on medium and small LCD screens in the face of the high demand for these equipment and will discard its serial production plan of organic light-emitting diode panels -OLED-, due to competition from other technologies.According to Toshiba Mobile Display spokesman Masahiro Kume, "The series production plan is currently frozen. We will review it now from scratch." Following this decision, the company will focus more on manufacturing LCDs for devices such as mobile phones and car navigation systems when demand grows for these devices.
