GE and its LED products tour Latin America

altColombia. AVI LATINOAMÉRICA accompanied GE Iluminación's Latin American LED Products Tour in Colombia, which presents the value and benefits of LED lighting to government and commercial customers throughout Latin America.

Its seven-month itinerary through eight countries and 17 cities began in Mexico City on June 8. "This LED product tour represents an opportunity to bring all key decision makers together in one place to see our products up close, and also allows our team to show why GE should be the brand of their choice," said Mariela Mijares, General Manager of GE Lighting.

Ge's LED Product Tour consists of a morning event dedicated to government customers and an evening show for commercial customers, such as architects and contractors. Each of the tour's events includes a showroom divided into booths (one for each lighting category) that allows prospective customers to visualize LED products corresponding to the different areas of their interest.

Thus, for example, the recreation of a street corner is focused on outdoor lighting and traffic lights. Visitors will be able to see the LED spotlights up close, touch them and learn how they work. In the same way, a special session is held for the media that presents to the attending journalists the main concepts of the evolution in lighting and the benefits of GE LED products.

"LED technology is at the forefront of a global revolution in lighting. For this reason, the LED Product Tour was created not only to publicize GE's product portfolio in the market, but also to promote local leadership, close commercial deals and improve relationships with our customers in Latin America," said Mijares.
