Europe. The European Image and Sound Association (EISA) highlighted and rewarded Sony's innovation through six of its products.The EISA jury awarded the company in the different categories such as: digital image, video projection to personal audio and video editing software.
The 2009-2010 EISA awards received by Sony were awarded for the following products: Walkman NWZ-X1050/1060, Personal Player; Cyber-shot DSC-WX1, European compact camera; Handycam HDR-XR520V/ XR520, European HD camcorder; G70-400mm F4-5.6 G SSM lens, European zoom; Bravia VPL-VW85, European video projector. Vegas Pro 9 software was voted in the European HD video editing solution category.
Fujio Nishida, President of Sony Europe, said EISA's recognition is a way to honor the efforts of the company's designers and engineers. "At Sony, we are more focused than ever on creating new products that deliver a fantastic experience for our customers."
EISA is europe's leading multimedia publishing organisation with a membership of nearly 50 audio, mobile electronics, video and photo magazines from 19 European countries.
