United States. The Federal Communications Commission said it will move forward with plans to reserve America's valuable empty radio wave spectrum for free wireless Internet use. This initiative is rejected by large corporate carriers such as T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless and AT&T, which claim that their customers will present interference from users of the new spectrum.
