Midas Consoles Launched New USB3 Audio Protocol Converter

Midas Consoles lanzó nuevo conversor de protocolo de audio USB3

Latin America. Cobalt is the new USB3 audio protocol converter, released by Midas Consoles, with a high channel count, that redefines convenience and versatility in the field of live audio recording.

Cobalt is designed with sound engineers in mind. It's more than just a USB converter; It's an innovative solution that combines power, portability, and connectivity for those looking for professional-grade recordings without having to spend a lot of money.

Users can virtually record and test the sound of up to 192 channels via a single Neutrik-locking USB-C connection, directly to a PC or Mac. Not only does this streamline setup, but it also allows audio professionals to carry a plethora of features in their pockets.

Built-in sample rate converters further elevate Cobalt's capabilities, allowing operation at 48 kHz or 96 kHz without compromising channel count. This flexibility is crucial for those who demand high-quality audio without sacrificing compatibility, representing a new pinnacle for audio consoles.

With its built-in Ethernet tunnel, Cobalt enables direct communication with a variety of audio applications such as Reaper through protocols such as OSC, expanding its support for different ecosystems for the diverse demands of modern audio production. This feature will ensure that engineers can seamlessly integrate Cobalt into their existing setups and allow them to navigate the complexities of audio production with ease.
