Hikvision instala primera pantalla LED 3D en Querétaro

Mexico. In the recently inaugurated Center for Innovation and Creative Technology "Bloque" in the city of Querétaro, which aims to be the most important hub of technology and digital industry in Mexico, the largest LED screen that has been designed in Latin America, from the company Hikvision, was installed.

The Center for Innovation and Creative Technology, Bloque, materializes in an inclusive public space, the innovation vision of the Municipality of Querétaro to bet on Querétaro talent as the engine of the evolution of the City. It is located at Blvd. Bernardo Quintana 10000 Col. Centro Sur in Santiago de Querétaro, Querétaro.

This is the first 3D Naked Eye screen with Hikvision's augmented reality technology in Mexico, located on the façade of the building, where 3,790 pieces of photovoltaic glass stand out, generating more than 458,000 kilowatts per year and making it the largest photovoltaic wall in Latin America. In addition, the building as a whole meets the highest quality and design standards, being classified as AAA in the real estate industry, for complying with all the technical specifications of a sustainable building.

According to Inmobiliare & Inbound Logistics LATAM, Querétaro is one of the cities with the highest industrial, logistics and technology growth, becoming a city that attracts other vertical markets such as housing, offices and corporate.

"Querétaro is a model to follow in innovation and technology, investing in the future of smart and sustainable cities. We have made significant progress in this capital. Today we are applying our state-of-the-art technology to install the largest 3D screen in Latin America in this important consortium," says Raúl Gong, director of the firm in Mexico.

He added that "Our commitment to innovate beyond traditional security paradigms is at the core of our mission. We look forward to continuing to collaborate with industry professionals, partners and customers and explore new opportunities to empower industries and communities."

For his part, Sergio Souza, Head of Commercial Display for Hikvision Mexico, indicates: "Since 2021, there has been a trend among brands to use 3D screens with "naked-eye" technology to launch new products and carry out attractive campaigns. Large LED screens give brands enough space to express their creative ideas, and 3D objects/characters allow brands to deeply impress the audience. With this naked eye 3D LED display, attendees and pedestrians of the Center for Innovation and Creative Technology "Block", will be able to see 3D video images, regardless of where they are, since with the three-dimensional technology of 3D glasses-free visualization they will be able to experience the stereoscopic effect by looking directly into the eyes. In this way, they will be able to immerse themselves in a realistic 'illusion', as the revolutionary product accurately captures their movements and displays flexible visual effects, offering an immersive sensory narrative and interactive experience."

Finally, he comments that there is a whole dedicated SITE for screen operation, where the high-resolution LED Video Wall driver of up to 4K is housed. The entire screen is synchronized with the content to be displayed. It uses state-of-the-art video cards to be able to manage pixel-by-pixel processing with a total resolution of approximately 23 megapixels.
