Polaris Controls Has 64 Brands Represented

Polaris Controls

Latin America. 2021 and 2022 were two good years for the execution of projects in the AV industry in our region, while 2023 was marked by uncertainty that meant that many projects are still pending completion.

This was indicated to AVI Latin America by Ariel Gutiérrez, founder and president of the company representing factories Polaris Controls. He stressed that "There are many clients with projects, but projects that have not yet been concluded. And, as you know, many of the products we handle are in the final phase of a project. So, there are a lot of projects started, but there are a lot of those projects that haven't been finalized yet. And that has caused a bit of uncertainty at the selling level. But we remain optimistic that 2024 will be a better year."

Today, Polaris Controls has 64 brands in its portfolio, divided into different segments: automation, audio, video and lighting. And to develop the market with these brands, they are focused on training and coaching from different media.

Ariel Gutiérrez recalled that "During the pandemic we invested a lot of time in developing a page, a YouTube channel in which we already have almost 200 videos uploaded of courses of 10 minutes to 4 hours. We also have a podcast space in our office and we publish them on Spotify under Polaris Controls Interactive, in which we interview people from the industry. We have an Instagram page that is quite active, where we upload video shorts, we have more than 1,300 video shorts already uploaded. And we do face-to-face trainings in different countries. In 2024 we will continue to strengthen these spaces."

Finally, regarding the countries where they are having the highest performance, he highlighted that in Mexico and some countries in the Caribbean and Central America they had a good performance for Polaris Controls. In South America, he highlighted Brazil and on Venezuela he mentioned that it is opening the way a little more.
