samsung

Colombia. Through its SmartThings application, the Samsung company is betting on growing the residential segment with the possibility of controlling appliances and other technologies that provide comfort in the home.

The marketing director of Samsung Colombia, Johan Pinzón, told AVI Latin America that through the application, you can control Samsung equipment, such as televisions, sound bars, air conditioners, refrigerators, robot vacuum cleaners, smart monitors, evaluate the energy consumption of the equipment, among other options.

Additionally, the company has reached agreements with more than 400 brands so that its system can control its solutions, which today exceed 1,700 products available to control through SmartThings. The app is supported by Matter, a connectivity standard that is supported by more than 280 companies.

"Samsung is not only looking to have technological connectivity, but to individuals. Samsung connects with people and provides them with solutions they need. An example is televisions that rotate, to watch traditional or digital content from social networks vertically, "said Johan Pinzón.
