Christie launches new pure RGB laser projectors

christie

Latin America. Christie introduced two new pure RGB laser projectors: the M 4K15 RGB and the M 4K+15 RGB. Belonging to its award-winning 4K RGB M Series, they offer 15,750 lumens and are designed for the most demanding applications, such as rental and live events, projection mapping shows and theme park attractions.

"Our original M-Series projectors, first introduced in 2007, were our most successful line of AV Pro projectors, with more than 16,000 units sold," said Joel St-Denis, director of product management at Christie. "Our new models continue the tradition of innovation that has made the M Series so popular, combining robustness, reliability and brilliance in a compact chassis."

Christie has simplified installation and operation by offering full brightness at 120V or 220V, omnidirectional rigging capabilities and TruLife+ electronics, which eliminates the hassle and cost of removable option cards. Weighing 38.1kg, the M 4K15 RGB and M 4K+15 RGB projectors are the lightest 3DLP projectors of their kind.

The new projectors are compatible with M, J and Crimson series lenses and M series mounts, which means additional savings.

With pure RGB laser illumination, the new projectors produce vibrant, bright and true-to-life images approaching 98% of the Rec.2020 colour gamut, while operating at a quiet 43 dBA to ensure attention remains focused on the screen.

The M 4K15 RGB offers a contrast ratio of 2700:1 and 4K UHD resolution (3840x2160), while the M 4K+15 RGB offers a contrast ratio of 2200:1 and 4K UHD+ resolution (3840x2400). For applications requiring higher frame rates, the optional Mirage and Mirage Pro upgrades offer 4K resolution at 120Hz and HD resolution up to 480Hz.

The M 4K15 RGB and M 4K+15 RGB models are available now.
