Mexico. For the Mexican company SSL Digital, which operates not only in Mexico, but also throughout Central America, the year started well, with many projects and more movement with customers.
William Narchi Karam, General Director of SSL Digital, told AVI Latin America that "So far this year we have closed 5 new projects and we have very promising projects for the rest of the year. The health sector is demanding projects for gyms and laboratories, above all."
One of the main trends in the digital signage market that he highlighted is the power to count the audience. "It's generating a lot of interest with our customers, more and more we're installing and operating equipment to measure audiences."
He recalled that, during 2022, they were affected by the shortage of equipment with which they could not deliver projects on time. "The shortage of products did not allow us to sell more to customers and the situation this year persists, delivery times are very long and projects are affected."
Finally, William Narchi Karam stressed that as integrators and operators of digital signage, "we hope to find in InfoComm Show 2023 innovative systems that we can integrate into our offer of products and services. We hope it will be a year in which we can grow to double digits and seed large projects by 2024."
