Christie launches Cinema Rental program in Brazil

Christie lanza programa Cinema Rental en Brasil

Brazil. Christie announced the new Cinema Rental program, in conjunction with OrionPC, to offer exhibitors in Brazil the option to purchase Christie's state-of-the-art pure RGB laser projection technology through a service model, at a fraction of the purchase cost of the new equipment.

Cineflix, a Paraná exhibitor with 125 screens, is the first customer to join the program, with 80 screens. The Cinema Rental program is a service model whereby OrionPC will finance, install, maintain and repair the equipment using highly qualified technicians for the duration of the contract. This will allow cinema operators more time to run and grow their businesses with the confidence of knowing that their screens will always shine with Christie's latest pure RGB laser projectors.

With Christie's new Cinema Rental program in Brazil, exhibitors can realize greater savings with pure RGB laser projectors compared to lamp-based ones, and even smaller exhibitors can benefit from government-sponsored economic programs, such as RECINE, with minimal administrative effort and, finally, exhibitors can start operations anywhere in Brazil with a simple and easy turnkey contract that can be used. You can expand at the pace of your growth.

Gilmar Leal Santos, shareholder of the CINEFLIX Group, said: "The model is the smartest and most versatile today, and was chosen by CINEFLIX because it makes the most strategic sense for the company both in terms of equipment replacement and in our expansion, which will be aggressive in the coming months."

Christie has the widest range of projection solutions for all types of rooms, from boutique cinemas to premium large format, and its improved pure RGB laser projectors are the most energy efficient: they produce 50% more lumens per watt, which means they consume less energy to produce more brightness on screen, assuming up to 32% more energy savings in operation than the competition.

"We are truly honored to have been chosen by CINEFLIX to start this important new phase of the exhibition in Brazil," said Ricardo Laporta, Christie's Regional Director of Film Sales in Brazil. "It makes it even more special to know that we are building this relationship based on trust and the right approach. I'm sure this exciting journey has only just begun."

Christie cinema projectors incorporate CineLife + electronics, Christie Real lighting technology | Laser and an all-in-one design with integrated cooling and sealed optical path. They provide extraordinarily colorful and detailed 4K images, true to reality, while benefiting from a platform designed to support the content and formats of the future.
