Philips videowall screens obtain Extron certification

Pantallas de videowall Philips extron

Latin America. Extron certified the use of its Quantum Ultra and Quantum Ultra II 8K videowall processors combined with Philips X-Line PPDS screens for a uniform and stable presentation of source content. This certification is achieved after an extensive Extron testing program and is now identified as "Quantum Ultra Certified."

"Video wall applications demand the highest level of reliability and performance, especially for mission-critical installations. Quantum Ultra processor configurability and capabilities, such as 8K video support and 500Gbps bus throughput, combined with the installation of Quantum Ultra-certified devices, such as the hugely popular Philips X-Line display series, mean reliable video wall performance from integration to operation, even in mission-oriented, 24/7 environments," said Casey Hall, chief marketing officer at Extron.

Philips X-Line models currently certified include BDL3207X, BDL4107X and BDL8007X 55", BDL6005X 65" and BDL2105X 49" and 55" compliant, which are also TAA compliant.

"Designed for 24/7 use, our Philips X-Line displays are stable and secure, deliver performance and reliability, and are fully equipped to meet the unique and ever-evolving requirements of busy control rooms and mission-critical areas," added Jack Boyczuk, Chief Commercial Officer at PPDS:

The Quantum Ultra certification program minimizes compatibility issues. System designers can rest easy knowing that visualization and image processing products have been tested together using set parameters such as image acquisition, image stability, and EDID management. By specifying a Quantum Ultra Certified display, you can optimize videowall integration, reducing the need for on-site troubleshooting.
