Latin America. Xilica and Sennheiser released a new IT-centric audio bundle. Now, with the introduction of the Xilica x Sennheiser Small Room Kit, collaboration spaces can be made the most of.
Following in the footsteps of Xilica x Sennheiser's popular Medium Room Kit and Large Room Kit, both featuring Sennheiser's TeamConnect Ceiling 2 beamforming microphone matrix Xilica audio systems, the latest addition includes Sennheiser's brand new TeamConnect Ceiling Medium (TCCM), which was announced for market launch at Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2023.
The new Xilica x Sennheiser Small Room Kit, which is exhibited at the Xilica stand at ISE 2023 (#2-Q400), is a pre-designed audio system ideal for small spaces: meeting rooms, classrooms or collaborative spaces that do not require the wide coverage that TeamConnect Ceiling 2 ensures, but flexibility and freedom for presentations, to reconfigure the room layout, or when several speakers are running at once.
The IT-centric solution, with operation based exclusively on category 5 cable and power over Ethernet (PoE) is the new entry-level bundle in the joint product catalog of Xilica and Sennheiser, which maintains its Medium and Large Room Kits.
The Small Room Kit, which carries a TeamConnect Ceiling Medium by Sennheiser, a Xilica Solaro QR1-UC processor for digital signal and PoE power, two Xilica Sonia C5 speakers recessed in ceiling and a Xilica Sonia Amp PoE++ amplifier with integrated network switch, only needs one network-to-ceiling cable for the entire room's audio system. With the network infrastructure already installed, the Xilica Sonia Amp feeds the TCCM and redirects, through Dante protocol, the audio back to the Xilica QR1-UC DSP of the system.
The deployment of the Xilica x Sennheiser Small Room Kit eliminates the need for traditional copper cabling, cable and input mess, endless hours spent designing and programming the system, and validation testing, which Xilica and Sennheiser perform in their own labs to ensure full compatibility with Microsoft Teams. The breadth of scope offered by the Xilica x Sennheiser Room Kit allows companies of great activity, higher education centers and public administrations to use as standard a single product for spaces of all types of dimensions, and to increase and reduce benefits to adjust to the needs of specific spaces.
Thus optimizing training on the product, assembly and management of its operation, the Xilica x Sennheiser Room Kits also include control of the cameras by voice using Xilica technology with a usual Pan-Tilt-Zoom (PTZ) camera; state tuning and mute for widely used UC platforms and prefabricated modules that ensure easy installation using Xilica HearClear echo acoustic cancellation technology.
But in addition, at ISE 2023 Xilica has announced that Sennheiser's SpeechLine wireless and digital microphone system now has native support, offering additional control, security and functionality options for the end user and system integrators, who will be able to benefit from the two product lines.
