"Multimedia is a leader in collaboration solutions in Mexico," we have long admired its capabilities and couldn't be happier to join forces with a company that we believe is such a preeminent provider," said John Zettel, CEO of AVI-SPL.

Multimedia is the commercial subsidiary of integration of audiovisual systems and unified communications and computer services of Grupo Multimedia. He has 34 years of experience serving global and local brands in Mexico and has earned a reputation for providing world-class technology solutions, delivery and support.

Its Monterrey facility features a unique proof-of-concept lab to verify hybrid meeting room integrations and validate clients' system designs prior to implementation.

By collaborating with AVI-SPL, I know that our companies will fit perfectly in terms of values and culture. This news marks a great new day for our team."

AVI-SPL will continue to increase market share in Mexico while developing greater delivery and service capabilities for Latin America, where diverse global brands are looking for a reliable partner for new hybrid work models and connectivity requirements.

In recent years, the two companies have worked together to bring complex collaborative technology environments to life for multinational organizations such as Dell, Google and Walmart.

The strengthened presence of AVI-SPL Mexico will boost the global brands that are part of the Strategic Account Management program and respond to the growing demand of customers for IT and audiovisual services in Mexico and Latin America.

The acquisition provides greater support for local customers helping to create a more connected world for all.
