Shure and Netgear Alliance for Faster AV Integration

shure netgear

Latin America. With each new technological advance, the learning curve to facilitate seamless meetings becomes steeper and time becomes more valuable.

To provide a solution to this growing challenge, Shure partnered with NETGEAR, Inc., a provider of networking products for small and large businesses, to ensure faster and more reliable integration by installing Shure Microflex Ecosystem products in conjunction with NETGEAR AV Line M4250 switches.

Combining Shure's legacy in the AV industry, along with NETGEAR's commitment to AV over IP streaming, will help integrators with limited network capacity save time setting up rooms while delivering best-in-class and most consistent audio for customers.

Built from the ground up for 1G AV over IP, the NETGEAR AV Line M4250 switches combine years of networking experience with best practices from leading AV professionals to simplify and elevate the installation process. A new browser-based, AV-resource-centric user interface enables critical AV network configurations, selectable profiles for popular AV devices, and a sleek front panel with multiple mounting options.

M4250 switches now come preinstalled with two Shure profiles to optimize switch configuration and customize VLANs for control and audio when deploying Microflex Ecosystem devices. The switch easily splits network traffic for Dante audio and Shure control traffic, giving integrators greater confidence and an easier installation experience.

Shure and NETGEAR worked closely together to ensure seamless interoperability for the customized Line M4250 AV Series profile. These switches underwent rigorous testing to meet Shure's ultra-high quality standards, ensuring the development of superior reliability products.

All devices compatible with the Microflex Ecosystem have been rigorously tested to ensure seamless integration with the M4250 switch series. These products include:

  • MXA920 Ceiling Microphone
  • MXA910 Ceiling Microphone
  • MXA710 Linear Microphone
  • MXA310 Table Microphone
  • IntelliMix® P300 Conference Audio Processor
  • ANIUSB-MATRIX USB Audio Network Interface
  • Network Speaker MXN5W-C
  • Mute button in MXA Network

As an added benefit, NETGEAR offers customers a lifetime warranty, efficient technical support, and next business day replacements, along with dedicated, comprehensive support for network issues. NETGEAR's Engineering Services team also offers free network design and installation support services.
