In general, Off The Wall, is a place that focuses its experience on art, culture and urban experiences, with an aesthetic inspired by the Sawta locality and located in the old town of Dubai, this place transmits the feeling of being between the streets.
This exclusive bar was conceived to offer a unique experience for the five senses, so special care should also be taken in the sound experience. For this reason, Procom Middle East was commissioned to deliver a sound solution to replace the system it had already installed, so the company in charge proposed an upgrade with the Das Audio system, due to its performance, durability and reliability.
In addition, the diversity in the lines of systems of this brand also contributed components of style and diverse designs, something indicated to fit with the visual layout of the spaces of Off The Wall.
Challenges for the installation of the Sound System in Dubai
The installation in this artistic and unconventional bar in Dubai was not easy. All the walls were decorated by artists, all of them with stimulating designs, so the complexity of the decoration and the urban atmosphere of Off The Wall was a real challenge when selecting the sound systems.
Walls and ceilings required models that offered the best sound quality while being discreet to integrate with graffiti and paintings. For this reason, Procom Middle East selected the Artec-500 series and the Quantum series.
The understated design, size, and sound quality of the Artec-508A were the reasons for using it as the main system. However, for the sound reinforcement of the low frequencies, the aesthetics of the space were also taken into account, it was important to achieve discretion, so it was decided to combine Artec-S15 as the main subwoofer and the Q10 of the Quantum series, for its ultra-compact size, to reach more complex areas.
To complete the installation , Artec-508 in the passive version was used as monitors for the DJ.
