EDGE Appoints Michael Boettcher as President

Michael Boettcher, edge

Latin America. EDGE, formerly USAV, announced the hiring of Michael Boettcher as its president. Boettcher brings more than 20 years of audiovisual industry experience to the EDGE team, most recently serving as president of Global VC, the U.S. division of New Era Technology.

"We are delighted to welcome Mike to the organization," said Matt Barnette, CEO of PSA Network and EDGE. "We have aggressive growth goals for our AV division and Mike will be instrumental in achieving them. His years of experience in the industry and his deep knowledge of the challenges of an AV integrator make him an excellent asset."

EDGE unites low-voltage system integrators as an industry elite team. With integrative members around the world, partnerships with leading AV manufacturers, distributors, and service providers, and alignment with major industry associations, the edge edge provides is unparalleled by any other.

"I'm very excited to join this great team," Boettcher said. "I have been involved with the group for over a decade, including service on the Dealer Advisory Council (DAC). I look forward to strengthening the relationships fostered during those years and building new ones that will propel EDGE forward over the next decade."

During Boettcher's tenure, New Era Technology was recognized as a Top 50 Systems Integrator by SCN, a CRN Top 100 Service Provider, included in CRN's Top 150 Fastest Growing list and an industry leader by Commercial Integrator. New Era also received AVIXA's APEx elite certification for industry excellence.

Boettcher previously served as NSCA president and has been on the board of directors since 2014. He also served as DAC president for USAV and is a member of AVIXA with a Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) designation. He holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Villanova University and played baseball with the Wildcats.

He joins the EDGE team of seasoned industry veterans: Vice President Patrick Whipkey and Director of Business Development Cheryl Walton. EDGE now has more than 90 integrators that collectively generate more than $2 billion annually in gross revenue. With a presence of integrators in more than 40 countries and partnerships with 250 technology solution providers, EDGE's advantage is clear.

EDGE is a partner of ConsorcioTec, the first purchasing group for integrators in Latin America.
