Q-SYS the certified solution for Google Meet

QSC y Google Meet

International. Q-SYS is an integrated audio, video and control solution certified for Google Meet, specially designed for hybrid work, which can be linked from a single USB connection.

Q-SYS, developed by the QSC brand, is a cloud control platform that offers an integrated operating system that brings together audio, video and control powered by a central processor, eliminating unnecessary programming, as well as points of failure, to interconnect audio DSPs, control processor hardware and separate video peripherals. This central processor is the Q-SYS Core or I/O-USB Bridge processor, which integrates with the Google Meet computing device through a single USB connection.

This solution is jointly tested and supported to work with Google Meet, enabling interoperability for current and future Q-SYS products. In addition, the integration includes multiple Q-SYS conference cameras, with automatic switching capabilities.

Another advantage is that Q-SYS allows for a fully customizable audiovisual environment, including room automation and lighting and screen control, along with Google Meet meeting controls, from a single controller.

Dave Citron, product manager at Google Meet, commented, "Technologies that provide equal collaboration for hybrid work environments are incredibly important to the way teams interact today." "We're pleased to have the control capabilities in the QSC room available in Google Meet, so customers have access to the tools they need to connect and collaborate, regardless of their location."

Jason Moss, QSC's Vice President of Alliances and Ecosystems, said, "QSC and Google Cloud aim to deliver exceptional experiences to customers across all industries. We're thrilled to be working with Google Cloud and integrating with Google Meet to help customers better navigate the new dynamics of hybrid work, while helping to deliver a consistent, high-quality experience for any high-value space."

Q-SYS Control funcionamiento

These new control and video capabilities add to the existing audio support Q-SYS provides for Google Meet, allowing IT integrators and end users to use a Q-SYS Core or USB bridge endpoint for audio processing and choose from a portfolio of Q-SYS Amplifiers, network I/O devices, and QSC speakers. The Q-SYS ecosystem of third-party solutions also works seamlessly with Q-SYS to enable an enhanced experience for customers collaborating from anywhere.
