International. Clear One has secured two new patents for its Beamforming microphone-related products.
The first patent, No. 11,240,597, is the "Ceiling Beamforming Microphone Array System", an array that can be disassembled from processors running beamforming algorithms, the advantage of this is that it allows the use of a single computing engine to run multiple algorithms on multiple microphones, which can reduce overall costs and extend the life of devices, compared to a design where the integration is a single computing engine for a single array of microphones.
The second patent, No. 11,240,598 is the "Acoustic Echo Cancelling Limited Band Beamforming Microphone Set", a matrix with a beamforming microphone array that features one or more additional microphones used to increase audio performance and cancel acoustic echo. The advantage is that the integration for noise cancellation allows to deliver a more compact solution for conference applications.
