QSC Introduces New Control and Video Products

qsc

Latin America. QSC added a new series of products to the Q-SYS platform: NC Series Network Conferencing Cameras and TSC Gen 3 Series Network Touchscreen Controllers.

Originating from the Q-SYS operating system, these scalable products integrate seamlessly with any Q-SYS system to meet the unique needs of any modern, high-value collaboration space.

Q-SYS NC Series Conference Cameras
The new NC series includes three models that allow IT integrators and administrators to correctly size the selection of cameras for their Q-SYS installation. The Q-SYS NC-110 is the first fixed-lens ePTZ camera available for Q-SYS, with a 110° horizontal field of view (hFOV) with digital zoom capabilities for smaller, larger rooms.

As native Q-SYS devices, the NC series overcomes the routing, delivery, and visual limitations of typical USB camera solutions. This is enabled by allowing as many Q-SYS IP camera streams on the network as needed for the application, and then decoding, scaling, and bridging the host/compute PC with a USB Q-SYS-enabled peripheral device, all without the need for complicated programming or video array hardware.

Q-SYS TSC Series Gen 3 Touch Screen Drivers
Q-SYS TSC Series Gen 3 offers a complete redesign to deliver increased performance and a modern aesthetic, enabling intuitive AV&C controls for any space. Available in three sizes, the TSC-50-G3 (5-inch), TSC-70-G3 (7-inch) and TSC-101-G3 (10.1-inch) feature higher resolution with significantly improved screen transitions, integrated ambient light brightness sensors, and a sleek new design.

In addition, the 7- and 10-inch ones offer a customizable RGB LED status to indicate the call/mute status, room in use, etc., as well as proximity sensors that wake up the screens as they approach.

Like all Q-SYS touchscreen controllers, integrators can implement fully customizable user control interfaces (ICUs) with a unique drag-and-drop UCI editor within the Q-SYS Designer software, the singular software used to create UCI, DSP, and control programming. Designers can further standardize and accelerate the implementation of UCI design with the optional use of Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and the recently launched UCI controller.
