Epson celebrates 34 years of presence in Mexico

epsonMexico. For a company, expanding its presence internationally is a reflection not only of its ability to provide solutions beyond borders, but also of the preference it generates over the years. In this way, today, Epson celebrates 34 years of presence in Mexico, in which it has dedicated itself to providing exceptional quality and performance in all its lines through precision, variety and innovation.

The history of Epson Mexico begins in 1987, emerging from a co-investment between Mexicans and Seiko Epson Corporation, and it would be in 1992, when it would be integrated as a subsidiary of Seiko Epson. Since then, the Japanese company has maintained its commitment to deliver a unique added value, through innovative and creative solutions that meet the needs of the client in markets as varied as companies, photography, design, textiles, points of sale, among others.

Over time, Epson has updated its corporate principles, from creating a healthy, respectful, fair and honest work environment for its 133 employees in Mexico, to its responsibility to the environment, using original, efficient, compact and precision technologies along with open innovation initiatives such as vehicles to drive solutions that will enrich the world and make it a better place, added its Environmental Vision 2050 whose objective is to co-create sustainability and enrich communities to connect people and information.

The result of these principles and compliance with objectives has made Epson Mexico number 1 in categories such as video projectors and other segments in which the company has a presence, such as printers and scanners.

It is these reasons that have allowed Epson to grow in Mexico not only as a company, but as a strategic partner, building lasting relationships with its end users, co-workers and those who consume its technology.

"I am sure that in these 34 years, Epson has had difficult times, but also many satisfactions. I am also sure that the moment we live in will go down in history as one of the times with the most challenges, challenges and complexities, and it is in these times where we must continue with the motivation high and with that inexhaustible energy that has characterized us in all these months. Like the years we have been in Mexico, we are now supporting Mexicans to have technology to accompany them to achieve their goals. Let's keep building this story together," said Mario Pedreros, Regional Director of Epson Mexico.
