Christie released new version of Mystique

christie mystiqueLatin America. Christie released Version 2.5 of Christie Mystique, designed to simplify and automate warping and blending in multi-projection matrices and create a single and homogeneous canvas.

With Version 2.5, Mystique Essentials and Pro Venue Editions now offer two new aspects that improve the fidelity and uniformity of the overall image in projector arrays with edge fusion, when projecting onto flat or curved surfaces.

There are installations in which the surface on which it is to be projected has visual imperfections (dirt, discoloration, lack of uniformity) that can negatively affect the quality of the projected image. The new version of Mystique now incorporates an innovative background compensation function: through a color camera, it detects contrast differences on a screen or projection surface, automatically making the necessary adjustments to overcome these anomalies and achieve a more uniform projected image. The aim is for the focus to be exclusively on the projected content and not on the quality of the background.

The task of adjusting the uniformity of color and brightness in the projectors of a matrix to prevent the melting zones from being appreciable can be a long and tedious manual process, especially when the projectors used have different degrees of seniority. With the new automated color and brightness uniformity feature, Mystique makes those adjustments at the click of a button, and with the precision that its in-camera base gives, to display an image without divisions.

In addition to saving us time and money, Christie Mystique gives us the freedom to project virtually anywhere, explains Joel St-Denis, Christie's senior product manager. Mystique eliminates the multiple tests that were previously needed to install a multi-projection system. The focus is now on offering the public unforgettable experiences. It is a fundamental tool for those who want to install a truly uniform and undivided projection matrix.

Mystique is available in five editions aimed at meeting the needs of different specific applications: Mystique Lite, Essentials, Pro Venue, Premium and Large Scale Experience Editions. You will find detailed information and a complete list of compatible projectors in christiedigital.com/mystique.

Christie Mystique Version 2.5 is now ready for download.
