Sony joins ConsorcioTec as preferred supplier

consorciotec, sonyLatin America. ConsorcioTec, the purchasing consortium for Latin American integrators, and Sony Professional Solutions Latin America Division, PSLA, signed an agreement for the latter's entry into the loyalty ecosystem for the purchase of technology in the region.

"Always as manufacturers we look for long-term relationships, and this type of group offers a much more direct communication to work hand in hand with the integrator, which ends up generating added value for both," says Claudius Bezerra, Product Marketing Manager of Sony to highlight the opportunity to continue educating quality integrators about the technologies that the company manages and have a closer relationship.

On the other hand, Claudius points out as a plus the focus on the Latin American market where "we are more active" and finds a synergy to expand the information about the brand's products.

A partner at all levels
For Max Jaramillo, Chief Integrator Advocate of ConsorcioTec, the entry of this renowned provider provides more solidity to the group and expands the portfolio of solutions available to the different member integrators.

In the case of Sony, a wide range of products for broadcast, audio and video appears; applications not only for television units, but for the corporate, education and healthcare sector.

"At every moment we are looking to go to market with new technologies to facilitate the work of the integrator more," said Claudius when mentioning the digitalization process and the preference of many customers for the cloud that the pandemic has brought, and with it the transmission of content through IP platforms and remote systems.

"We already have solutions that even today are incorporating artificial intelligence, but with a value that is quite accessible," he reaffirms by reiterating Sony's message as a partner with which affiliates can work, not only with the solution or product, but at the level of communication and education about technologies.
