Plug and play consoles expand Nexxis portfolio for operating room

nexxis, barco, Latin America. Having integrated 4K and 3D imaging within Nexxis' functionalities, Barco further expands its medical product portfolio with a family of wall-mounted consoles for operating rooms. Like Barco's other surgical displays, the MDMX series can be added in plug and play form to any new or existing Nexxis integration.

Every year, more things are possible in the digital operating room. That's good, as it can boost ORO equipment productivity, response times, and patient recovery. However, with digitalization there are also challenges:

Hardware must be maintained and software must be updated on time
It is necessary to monitor the life cycles of individual products.
New products (sometimes from different vendors) must be validated in existing configurations
Operating room integrators must be able to track devices and where they are installed

That's why Barco expands its hardware portfolio with three new wall-mounted consoles that have Nexxis functionality built in. The advantages offered by wall-mounted consoles to operating rooms are abundant:

- Publicidad -

They present information that can be easily viewed from anywhere in the operating room.
Allow you to place multiple images or video sources side by side
They do not take up space, since they are integrated into the wall of the operating room.
Make it very easy to interact with remote PC video sources

Barco's family of built-in MDMX wall consoles has built-in Nexxis functionality, so they can be easily integrated into new and existing Nexxis systems, with no connectivity or compatibility issues. The series also allows you to connect mobile devices, such as C-arcs, to Nexxis.

All three consoles offer a Nexxis button that can be programmed for specific tasks: start or stop recordings, take snapshots, change video layouts, etc.

The MDMX series offers the possibility to choose between three different screens, each with a black protective anti-reflective glass front cover that allows easy cleaning and disinfection:

MDMX-22400 GNTB: 24" Full-HD console
MDMX-25500 GNNB: 55", 4K console
MDMX-22449 GNTB: Combined display configuration of a 24" Full HD display and a 49" 4K display

The MDMX-22400 GNTB and MDMX-25500 GNNB can be combined side by side in a dual configuration. The consoles come with optional foldable IP68 trackpad, mouse, and keyboard, available in multiple languages.
