ConsorcioTec brings benefits for all parties: DAS Audio

Leandro Arguello, das audioLatin America. DAS Audio is a Spanish multinational that has offices in Valencia - Spain, Miami - USA, Shanghai - China, São Paulo - Brazil and Singapore, and this year celebrates its first 50 years in the market. It is one of the manufacturers that has recently joined ConsorcioTec as a preferred supplier.

Leandro Arguello, sales director for Latin America at DAS Audio, spoke to AVI Latin America and told details of the company and plans for this year. He assured that hand in hand with its extensive network of distributors, it has a presence in 70 countries focused on 3 segments: Retail, Installation and Touring.

"Today DAS Audio is not just a manufacturer of sound systems. We manufacture sound solutions. We are a company focused on services. We provide product expertise and support to all our users. Sound quality is something that customers can take for granted, the key factor in decision making is the services and customer support that is provided."

He recalled that one of the most recent large projects in which DAS Audio technology was used was in the Inter Miami Soccer Stadium, by David Beckham, in which they were able to sound different areas of the place, such as offices, training areas and gym of the players.

"Shortly before the beginning of the pandemic, this stadium was about to be inaugurated, a 100% installation with DAS Audio systems, being able to make use of a wide range of DAS products with acoustic solutions such as: HQ Series, WR Series, Quantum Series, OVI-12 Series, Artec 500 Series, CL Series, amplifiers and processors, all with the monitoring of our engineers from the design process to the installation together with our client TGI who made the project of integration".

Linking to ConsorcioTec
When Leandro Arguello was asked why he decided to join ConsorcioTec, he stressed that it was not a difficult decision, the proposal brings benefits and opportunities for all parties involved.

"It is a project that from the moment I became aware, I affirmed to Max Jaramillo that we would be part, because it allows us as a factory to support our distributors, bringing them closer to new customers, interact directly to develop new customers of official integration of DAS Audio in some countries and / or as support in the projects together with the distributors, thus bringing greater technical knowledge of our systems," he said.

With its link to the first purchasing group in Latin America, DAS audio hopes to provide ConsorcioTec integrators with the possibility of including in their projects, products and high-quality sound solutions focused on foreign businesses, maximizing the performance and benefits of our products from a profitable perspective.

He added that "Our products and services are focused on making the latest technologies and developments accessible to most of us, providing solutions that are focused on meeting the needs of our customers, nothing more. All with a 24/7 closeness that characterizes us."

Impact of Covid on the industry
Although he considers that there were irreparable impacts on the professional audiovisual industry derived from the pandemic, the director of DAS Audio stressed that the new opportunities are immeasurable, for which we must be prepared.

"This is closer to being overcome and our industry will be reactivated as before and the proof of that is ConsorcioTec that was "born" during the worst moment, but has gone ahead with its project, exceeded its objectives for the first year and brought benefits, new possibilities and opportunities to all those who are part of the project. That's what it's all about, adapting, being proactive and creative, not losing what brought you here and taking even more care of customers, because we need them and together we will come out stronger," concluded Leandro Arguello.
