Everis Signs Agreement with AWS for Corporate Solutions

everis, awsLatin America. Multinational consulting firm everis has announced a new strategic collaboration agreement with Amazon Web Services (AWS). Through this agreement, both companies will collaborate in the development of digital corporate solutions based on AWS, with the aim of accelerating the digital transformation of corporate customers in EMEA and LATAM.

The rapid changes to which the current business environment is subjected cause a growing demand to carry out a digital transformation through cloud computing and other technologies. Traditional IT business systems and applications are not adapted to digital transformations, so they are not flexible or sensitive enough and their maintenance cost is high. Everis already offers customers across all industries comprehensive AWS-based IT and enterprise services, including managed services and consulting-led IT strategy, as well as system design, integration, operations and maintenance.

In turn, and as customer needs increasingly focus on cloud-native and cloud-enabled consumer business applications that deliver the most advanced technological innovation, the agreement will allow the companies to work together to help customers digitally transform their businesses. This will be done by enhancing and deploying AWS-based solutions and services and using services such as Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (Amazon EKS), Amazon SageMaker, and Amazon Aurora, among others.

AWS will support the newly announced everis ecosystem of corporate cloud applications, called Syntphony, which will bring together solutions such as Dedalow, Open Banking Platform, Datalaia, Dolffia, and Compass. everis will also develop next-generation global managed services to help its customers adopt, migrate, and optimize applications on AWS, including specific vertical applications such as Murex.

The companies will also collaborate on a joint market launch strategy adjusted in the field and with an accelerated market launch in key target geographies. In addition, everis aims to train and train hundreds of its employees around the world through AWS certificates, to support the digital transformation of its customers.

"Thanks to this strategic collaboration agreement with AWS, and our experience in providing IT services, we will offer solutions and services that help our customers in various sectors accelerate their digital transformation," explains Juan Sebastián Escobar, Managing Partner of Digital Technology at everis Colombia.

"We are pleased to be able to work with everis in creating new opportunities and giving value to our customers, helping them transform their businesses quickly. We will continue to jointly explore new opportunities to build solutions and offer added value to our customers in Spain," says Miguel Alava, Managing Director, Iberia, Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL.

Digital transformation
everis has already provided AWS-based solutions to different companies in the European and US markets, with which it has demonstrated the excellent capabilities and the long journey they have within the new business models in the current context. A very clear example is SEAT, a leading Spanish manufacturer in the automotive sector, which is part of the Volkswagen Group.

At the moment, SEAT is also working with this technology to improve its processes strategically. Carlos Buenosvinos, CEO of SEAT:CODE and Chief Data Officer of SEAT, states that "SEAT:CODE is SEAT's digital driver for new business models around mobility and Industry 4.0. With the initial help of everis, we made the strategic decision to take a primarily cloud-based approach, and designed our cloud-native applications on AWS to drive autonomy, speed of delivery, and scalability. Today, there are already more than 150 SEAT:CODErs that benefit daily from this configuration. By leveraging SEAT:CODE's cloud expertise, we can also accelerate SEAT's journey to the cloud. We are very interested in what this strengthened collaboration between everis and AWS can bring to the continuation of our digital efforts to serve our customers."
