flor lopez, martin saUL,Latin America. AVIXA reported the results of the election of the members who will make up the AVIXA Board of Directors and the Leadership Search Committee (LSC) for 2021.

Among the most important appointments, the Argentine Martin Saúl, CEO of ICAP Global, stands out, who has been elected by the members of AVIXA as Secretary-Treasurer of the Board of Directors.

"I am in my third year as a member of the AVIXA Board of Directors and being elected as Secretary Treasurer is an extremely important achievement for me. It's very exciting, I reach a peak in my career that I never imagined," said Martín Saúl. "Listening to a voice that represents Latin America is very important to the other members of the Board, it is necessary to balance thinking and strategies. AVIXA has become a global association and that character is like a standard that permeates all its programs. So we are sure that Latin Americans are present in the decision-making and definition of policies of the association," he added.

AVIXA members also elected Jatan Shah, Executive Vice President, QSC's Chief Operating and Technology Officer, and Brad Sousa, Chief Technology Officer, AVI Systems, to the Board of Directors.

"I am excited to welcome the new board members who will enrich the conversations, strategies and the way forward."

The current chairman of the AVIXA Board of Directors, Jeff Day, has made two additional appointments to the LSC: Flor López, Vice President of Marketing, for Mexico and LATAM, of ENCORE Event Technologies, and Bill Fons, Executive Vice President of Promotion Technology Group.

"AVIXA established the Leadership Selection Committee in 2008 to identify volunteers willing to collaborate on the association's committees and make their way on future Board ballots," Labuskes said.
