RCF Group Appoints Marco Breda CEO of EAW

Marco bredaLatin America. RCF Group took a new step in strengthening EAW as an iconic U.S. brand in high-end professional sound systems. The Italian industrial group is now appointing experienced leader Marco Breda as CEO. It will operate from EAW's global headquarters in Whitinsville, Massachusetts.

Marco Breda has been living and operating in the United States for over 20 years, where he has successfully led a thriving international distribution company for major brands, including EAW for Latin America and the Caribbean. Long experience in the field combined with passion for the music industry led Breda to enthusiastically welcome the beginning of a new professional career.

"I am honored and excited to be a part of this brand," said Breda. "EAW has a great history and the highest international recognition. I am committed to putting all my energy, passion and market knowledge into contributing to further growth and expanding the brand around the world."

On the presence of EAW and the plans in Latin America, Marco Breda highlighted to AVI LATINOAMÉRICA that "After the acquisition of RCF Group, it has been possible to maintain a position in the global market, new products have been analyzed and programmed to supply the demand of the professional sound market".

He added that unfortunately Covid 19 has affected us like other manufacturers worldwide; I can say that having a well-stocked catalog, such as products for touring and productions, also for installation has allowed them to maintain their position in the market. The touring part at the moment this stop but the installation part has allowed them to achieve different facilities projects.

"Personally, from day one, I wanted to give a more direct eye to the Latin market: my goal is to have more presence in these territories and we are working to make this happen. As soon as events can be organized, we will be present at shows such as TecnoMultimedia in Mexico and Colombia, we will organize seminars and inform all professional sound users of the advantages they can have using an EAW equipment, We are also implementing new products that will be presented soon and that will complement the EAW catalog that already has many options in different applications, " Said.

Finally, Marco Breda concluded that "2020 is about to end and we hope that 2021 will be a better year, it will not be soon but you have to have faith and think positively. I cannot think of a Latin America without events, without music, without dances, without social aggregation; this is part of the culture."
