NEC Extends ProAssistTM Software to More Projectors

nec proassisttmLatin America. NEC announced an expansion of features, capabilities and availability of the ProAssistTM projector software solution.

By expanding the number of projectors your software is compatible with, ProAssist can now provide projection perfection to the NEC NP-PA803UL/NP-PA703UL (firmware version 1.12 or later), NP-PA804UL/NP-PA1004UL, NP-PX803UL (firmware version 1.11 or later), NP-PX1004UL (firmware version 1.07 or later), and NP-PX1005QL/NP-PH2601QL/NP-PH3501QL.

ProAssist is a professional-level, easy-to-use adjustment and control solution for bright, coordinated projection from multiple installation projectors. Whether the illuminator is using stacking techniques, edge combination or projection mapping, ProAssist ensures uniformity throughout the image. Installers can use ProAssist from a computer or tablet over a network to adjust each projector and correct any misalignments, preventing them from having to make time-consuming manual adjustments to individual projectors.

ProAssist makes image correction simple and allows image quality adjustment using all image controls such as brightness, contrast, white balance and more. ProAssist also offers lens functionality to focus the image, zoom or change as needed. It also allows users to turn projectors on/off, change inputs, and modify anything normally available in the menu, without displaying the menu in the projected image and without distracting the audience. These settings can also be made off-site and remotely.
