AVIXA live offers more vocational training options

Latin America. To support professionals and students interested in the audiovisual integration industry, AVIXA launches the free Professional Training Program in Spanish, AVIXA En Directo, with online courses and presentations taught by industry experts from Latin America and Spain. The program seeks to support people interested in expanding their knowledge while complying at home with COVID-19 confinement measures.

The AVIXA Live program, a joint effort of the AVIXA Spain and AVIXA Latin America teams, began on Tuesday, April 7, with courses and technical presentations broadcast live, by professional volunteers from schools, manufacturing companies and developers, as well as experienced Hispanic American instructors.

"AVIXA En Directo is a positive reaction of our association to the current situation. It aims to show the trends and technological innovations of the industry to add to the professional training of those who are related to it. In the first instance, the program will offer two weekly sessions and we consider that it will extend for at least eight weeks," said Rodrigo Cassasus Coke, CTS, Senior Director of Development of AVIXA for Latin America and the Caribbean.

Those interested can register to access the live presentations for free through the AVIXA videoconferencing platform through this link. The sessions are scheduled for Tuesdays and Thursdays in the morning for Latin American countries and evening for Spain. All presentations will be recorded and available on AVIXA's social networks (LinkedIn and Facebook)

"The idea is to support all technical professionals and students in the audiovisual community who want to take advantage of the confinement to continue their training with a free offer of high-level technical training," explains Sarah Joyce, Chief Global Officer of AVIXA. "We firmly believe in the importance of education and training, and we seek to contribute so that the audiovisual community can be trained and improve their professional qualification during these difficult times."

The AVIXA Live program joins AVIXA's measure of making available for free its entire online education catalog until June 12.
