Bose introduced new models of FreeSpace speakers

Latin America. Bose's FreeSpace DS speaker series grows with freeSpace FS models. Available in models for flush mounting of the ceiling and surface, and with a novel model specific for hanging installation, the FreeSpace FS series is ideally designed for voice and information applications to the public and ambient music.

All models are available in black and white colors, and offer 70/100V voltage options, in addition to low impedance operation. The models feature a full-range transducer, 2.25 or 4.5 inches, which delivers two distinct levels of performance.

The new FreeSpace FS speakers offer the same output and power handling as the original FreeSpace DS models, while providing additional features for use in wider applications. The rear metal covers in the ceiling mount models allow their use in ceilings with false ceiling of full chamber or air chamber. These models also feature connection points and voltage regulation settings in front of the baffle, with Euroblock audio connections.

Its improved aesthetic design and mechanical updates ensure easy installation in an extensive diversity of spaces, including outdoors. The FreeSpace FS surface-mount speakers and the 4-inch diameter FS4CE flush ceiling mount model are iP55 rated, which defines their strength for outdoor installation.

All FreeSpace speakers comply with fire alarm and safety alert standards UL1480 ULC-S541 (Life Safety Fire Alarm and Signaling), providing the peace of mind required for projects where the safety of people is key. The updates bring greater design flexibility and specifications to Bose Professional's well-known FreeSpace speaker family and are the ideal complement to its premium line of DesignMax speakers.
