The first noteworthy aspect of UHD Jr refers to its definition, fundamental to present the best possible image. The UHD Jr emits 4K x 2K @60hz or 8K x 1K @ 60hz (which equates to 4096*2160@60Hz / 7680*1080@60Hz). It supports free scaling to any size and, in addition, NovaStar's scaling algorithm allows you to ensure the sharpness and definition of the post-climbing image.
The level of definition it reaches is more than enough to meet the needs of most applications. HDR's wide color gamut and optimal contrast ensure realism and vividness in an image. Therefore, if what is intended is to reach a much higher level, HDR is the solution and who provides it is NovaPro UHD Jr. And NovaPro UHD Jr also fully supports HDR10.
NovaPro UHD Jr has PiP, with unlimited window size and position, in order to obtain flexibility and amazing results. When you open the PiP windows or make adjustments between the 8 input sources, you will result in incredible transitions with your special effects.
But having the most power possible means nothing if you don't have the right number and type of signal input and output ports. And this is another aspect where the NovaPro UHD Jr stands out. It has Real4K inputs, including 1x DP, 1x HDMI, 2x SDI and 4x SL DVI that can also be changed to 2x DL DVI.
The four DVI inputs can be joined into a single independent 4K x 2K or 8K x 1K input. In total there are 16 Neutrik Ethernet ports and 4 fiber optic connections, with a total load capacity of 10 million pixels. Two of the optical ports act as primary ports and the other two can be assigned as backup or redundant ports.
The UHD Jr has ultra-low latency, ensuring that in live apps and the display matches the live action. It's also the reason Jr has Genlock, ensuring that multiple linked drives maintain perfect timing.
