Audio-Technica Expands 3000 Series of Wireless Systems

Latin America. Audio-Technica announced the expansion of its acclaimed 3000 series of True Diversity UHF wireless systems with frequency agility with the addition of a network port, which now enables network control and monitoring along with the same ease of configuration, versatile operation and robust, high-fidelity and detail-rich sound, standard features of the 3000 series.

The new network control and monitoring option is extraordinary in a wireless system of this price range, as it makes the 3000 series compatible with A-T's Wireless Manager software, an application for Mac OS/Windows that allows remote configuration, control and monitoring, spectrum management and frequency coordination of Audio-Technica devices compatible in sound reinforcement or sound reinforcement applications. fixed.

The software package offers a wide variety of networked receiver control and management functions, grouped into three tabs: Device List, which automatically detects connected compatible A-T hardware and allows users to generate a list of devices from Audio-Technica and third-party wireless systems; Frequency Coordination, which enables real-time spectrum scanning via 3000 series wireless systems with the option of network or other A-T connected network receivers, or the option to use the preloaded TV channel database for remote planning; and Monitor, allows live monitoring of connected systems with the option to filter the devices in the list by groups of assigned tags. The monitored parameters are, among others: AF, RF, battery and transmission power.

Audio-Technica's 3000 Series wireless systems offer users the power and flexibility they need to operate on a highly congested UHF spectrum. With an extraordinary tuning range of 60 MHz, more than double that of previous versions, the 3000 series systems are available in two frequency bands: DE2 (470–530 MHz) and EE1 (530–590 MHz).

Frequencies can be easily scanned and selected on the receiver and from there synchronized with the transmitter via infrared (IR) synchronization functionality. The 3000 series allows users to even define a backup frequency that can be quickly accessed by pressing the transmitter's multifunction button in the event of unexpected interference.

Audio-Technica's 3000 series wireless systems with optional network control and monitoring (identified by an "N" in the model number) will be available in February 2020.
