Renan Lazcano joins Christe in controlroom division

Mexico. Christie announced that it has expanded its team in Latin America with the appointment of Renan Lazcano as Sales Manager of the company's Control Centers and Digital Signage division in Mexico.

Renan, who will report to Clayton Brito, Christie's director in Latin America, is a telecommunications engineer from UNAM (National Autonomous University of Mexico). Prior to joining Christie, he worked for about four years in the Ship Control Centers division in Mexico.

Clayton Brito said: "We are delighted with Renan's addition to our team. His professional career always linked to the Control Centers market, designing solutions and interacting with the main integrators and end users in Mexico, has allowed him to accumulate a solid experience in channel development and corporate account management. His appointment also reinforces the new local service, warranty and sales program that we announced at the recent edition of InfoComm Mexico."

For his part, Renan Lazcano said: "As sales manager of Christie's Control Centers and Digital Signage division in Mexico, my role will be focused on promoting the brand in the local market through distribution channels and partners, also supporting the guarantee service and after-sales support at the country level. The idea is to offer solutions adapted to the needs of the Latin American market, and not just boxes with products."

In that sense, Renan highlighted the complete portfolio that Christie offers to the control room market, including video walls, LCD panels, LED cubes and Christie Phoenix® controllers: "There are few manufacturers in the market with such a wide variety for all the needs of a control room. To that is added that we have an office in Mexico, which makes us a much more competitive brand in the local market of control rooms".

One of Renan's main contributions will be to promote the Christie Terra range of AV-over-IP solutions. He concluded that "The Mexican market is now demanding two basic features in visualization systems for critical environments 24/7: flexibility and simplicity. This is precisely what we offer at Christie, with a complete and versatile portfolio for all budgets."
