Epson introduces portable laser projectors for the home

Mexico. Epson launched for the Mexican market a new line of laser video projectors for 'portable' entertainment (Portable Laser Entertainment) with sophisticated design for the home.

The computers are portable and can be connected to existing video or game playback systems, in addition to having an integrated speaker for the user to modify the quality of the audio they prefer. The series comes in two models: the EF-100W and EF-100B (black and white, respectively with borders in combined colors).

The new EF-100 series of video projectors reaches a screen size of up to 100 inches and integrates a laser light source with a capacity of 2,000 lumens (both white and color, thanks to Epson's original 3LCD technology) and reaches up to 20,000 hours of life time.

The new devices are integrated with streaming media player equipment and support their power source, in addition to operating the functions of both from the remote control of the video projector. Users can plug them into USB Type-A (2.0A) inputs instead of a power outlet. As an alternate connectivity option, they have an HDMI port for connection with a chromecast or fire tv.  (this paragraph was uploaded since what we are most interested in communicating is the streaming connection part)

These equipment stand out for their ergonomic and modern design for minimalist environments. They are presented in two colors: matte black, with texture similar to leather and edge in a copper tone that gives it a touch of luxury (EF-100B), and neutral white (EF-100W) with silver border that gives an elegant touch to the environment where it is installed.

"We are sure that this new line of video projectors will greatly enrich the experience of home users in terms of entertainment, since it offers great versatility to enjoy video, music, video games, streaming services, in addition to the fact that lovers of minimalist environments and decorations will love it. Its sophisticated and simple design at the same time, is combined with a high effectiveness when issuing images and videos of great quality and colorful, "said Paulina Rivera, Senior Manager of Consumer Video Projectors at Epson Mexico.

Users of the new Epson equipment can freely adjust the brightness settings between 50% and 100% depending on the light in the room. On the other hand, the sound experience is improved, since the video projector includes a 5W speaker with an acoustic bass reflector enclosure (bass-reflex) and headphone input to better hear or not make noise to other people. As if that were not enough, it has a side air outlet, if you want to project towards the ceiling.
