Chauvet Professional presented the new Maverick MK3 Spot

Latin America. Debuting at the Acoustic Sage at Glastonbury, Chauvet Professional's new Maverick MK3 Spot created such a powerful impression on at least one visiting Lighting Designer that he thought it was a 1700W lamp when he first saw it. This 820W mobile LED equipment features a 51,000 lumens source.

However, the new spot equipment is more than a powerful light cannon. In addition to boasting impressive power to perform in even the largest arena, the Maverick MK3 Spot is also equipped with features that make it just right for a variety of applications, from large events to streaming projects.

"We designed this tool to be as versatile as it is powerful," said Albert Chauvet, CEO of Chauvet. "Our goal in developing this product was to create an extremely bright and intense team that was also flexible enough to meet the multiple needs of designers and rental homes."

In keeping with this design philosophy, the Maverick MK3 Spot offers a wide color palette within the reach of designers thanks to its CMY + CTO color mix and color wheel. The precision design team also features a fast 9:1 zoom ratio that maintains a flat focus field even when it's completely wide.

Other features included are its 73 to 93 adjustable CRI, two overlapping prisms (5 linear faces and 5 round faces) to provide greater prism options, three gobo wheels (two rotating and one static) for endless texture possibilities, two frost options (superlight and medium), 16-bit dimming, and an animation wheel.

The versatile Maverick MK3 Spot offers a variety of control options including flexible DMX, sACN, Art-Net or W-DMX.
