Christie reaffirms its commitment to the Mexican market

Mexico. Christie will focus its participation in InfoComm Mexico 2019 on reaffirming to local partners and customers its commitment to the Mexican market, a renewed commitment and reinforced now with the launch of a local service, warranty and sales program.

At the fair, which will take place at the World Trade Center in Mexico City from August 14 to 16, 2019, Christie will exhibit 4K UHD resolution laser projectors, LCD panels, LED video walls, as well as the Christie Phoenix control room processor, and Christie Mystique software for complex multi-projection arrays.

"Christie is committed to consolidating relationships with its local partners and customers with closer, better and more efficient service in Mexico, a rapidly growing region where demand for Pro AV, display and control room solutions continues to grow," said Clayton Brito, director of Christie's Enterprise division in Latin America.

Thus, with immediate effect, the transactions of purchase and sale of Christie products in Mexico will also be carried out in local currency, which will result in a significant economic advantage for customers and a simplification of operations.

In addition, Christie has signed an agreement with UPS whereby the logistics company will store in its warehouses in Mexico City a very large inventory of Christie spare parts, filters and lamps, which will generate a significant reduction in the delivery times of spare parts in Mexico, and a much more efficient service.

In the same vein, Christie has recently named Doctor Display, a Mexican company specialized in the repair and maintenance of professional audiovisual equipment, as the brand's new authorized service center in Mexico.

Doctor Display will offer technical support to Christie's entire product range (excluding cinema) such as projectors, LCD panels, LED solutions, video processors and drivers. The alliance with Doctor Display will also allow Christie to sell its products in Mexico with a local guarantee, which will greatly speed up the after-sales service.

In line with the above, Christie has also introduced training and certification programs in Mexico to help partners and customers learn how to use Christie-specific products more accurately and efficiently.

Advantages of the visit to the stand
At its booth #583 of InfoComm Mexico 2019, Christie will exhibit a control room solution composed of a Christie FHD553-X LCD flat panel video wall in a 2x2 configuration. With 55 inches and ultra-narrow bezel, the Christie FHD553-X offers full HD resolution, high pixel density and LED backlight display.

The contents of this video wall will be managed by two nodes of Christie Phoenix, Christie's open content management system specifically designed for control room applications.

In addition, the stand will feature a curved screen projection with two Christie 4K10-HS projectors working in blending. These are 1DLP laser technology projectors with UHD 4K resolution and Christie BoldColor Technology at the service of a high-fidelity color reproduction. They also have Christie Twist software for warping and blending, and omnidirectional capacity.

Christie Mystique, the camera-based alignment software solution with which to configure, align and do warping and blending in complex multi-projection matrices, will also be used to manage this projection.

Christie will also show at its stand an LED videowall of the Christie Velvet Core series with 1.5 mm pixel pitch. The Core Series is perfect in signage applications for stalls or kiosks in shopping malls, airports or crowded spaces, but also for select business facilities with limited budgets.
