Christie launches new Roadie and Mirage 4K laser projectors

InfoComm. For more than a decade, ChristieÒ's Line of Roadie projectors has been the natural choice of rental professionals. The reason: its strength, reliability and vividness of colors, whatever the shooting distance or installation configuration.

Now, those professionals have the opportunity to enjoy the Roadie 4K40-RGB, the laser version of the iconic product line. With features similar to those of the Christie D4K40-RGB, the Roadie does not require external coolers, remote laser racks or special pedestals: the new solution incorporates these features in a single all-in-one housing.

The new model reinforced and prepared for rigging is made, like its linemates, for the rigors of road life. Rental companies will certainly value the omnidirectional capabilities as well as the projector's compatibility with most Christie Boxer lenses, with the consequent flexibility and savings.

Like its big brother, the D4K40, the Roadie 4K40-RGB only requires a single-phase power of 220V, is equipped with Christie TruLife electronics and produces more than 95% of the Rec color space. 2020. The result is powerful and realistic images. With capacity for 30,000 hours of operation over 80% of its brightness, and a contrast ratio of 5000:1, the Roadie 4K40-RGB has a sealed optical path patented by Christie, which in most facilities translates into eight years of virtually maintenance-free operation at maximum capacity. At 135 kilos, it's considerably lighter than its pure laser RGB competitors.

Combining the Roadie 4K40-RGB with Christie Mystique the camera-based alignment software solution and Christie Guardian, which facilitates invisible and real-time automatic correction of image fusion in full operation, long alignment times are now a thing of the past.

The most immersive 3D viewing imaginable with the Christie Mirage 4K40-RGB
In the realm of projection technology for 3D viewing, Christie's Mirage Series has acquired legendary status and raised a bar that the new Mirage 4K40-RGB pure laser projector far exceeds. With more than 95% of the color space Rec. 2020, the new projector beats all the marks in immersive 3D viewing and points the way forward. This all-in-one projection solution offers unbeatable image detail, built-in warping and blending, near-field communication monitoring, and pre-viewing display.

The Mirage is already on the market, and the Roadie will be on the market by the end of June 2019.
